The City of Innsbruck's Department of Culture organises various initiatives throughout the year. With the "Stadt-Kunst-Innsbruck" exhibition, the City of Innsbruck's art collection was brought before the curtain for the first time and the exhibits from 2010 to 2015 were presented in the city halls.
As part of the "Stadt-Kunst-Innsbruck" exhibition in the Stadtsaal building, 148 works of art by 66 Tyrolean artists were shown on several levels. The total purchase price was 350,000 euros. A comprehensive catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition, with texts provided by the artists themselves.
