Innsbruck's city history encompasses more than just the tourist hotspots around the Golden Roof. You can go on a journey of discovery in the individual neighbourhoods and hear unusual stories. This is also the case in Reichenau, where the Bocksiedlung housing estate was built in the mid-1930s and characterised the district. Even though no traces of the estate can be seen today, many people still remember the "Bockala" and their stories about life on the edge of the city, about marginalisation and freedom, cohesion and adventure.
The exhibition "Legendary: The Bocksiedlung" shows life and everyday life in the settlement.
